At Search Zero ("Platform", "Website", "we", "us"), operated by SearchZero Innovations Private Limited (a Credvest Group company), your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.
This Privacy Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("IT Rules").
1.1 Personal Information (PI)
Information you provide directly when you register, use SmartMatch, or submit an EOI:
Full name, email address, phone number
Budget range, location preferences, BHK requirements, lifestyle
preferences (via SmartMatch questionnaire)
Unit selection and EOI transaction details
Communication with our team (emails, chat, support queries)
1.2 Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI)
As defined under the IT Rules, this may include:
Financial information (collected and processed by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay, and not stored by Search Zero)
Any other information designated as SPDI under the IT Rules
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
Device information (browser type, operating system, device model)
IP address and approximate location
Pages visited, time spent, click patterns, and navigation behaviour on the Platform
Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
1.4 Information from Third Parties
Payment confirmation and transaction status from Razorpay
Project information and unit availability from Developers
2.1 To provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its features, including SmartMatch recommendations.
2.2 To process your EOI, facilitate payments, and communicate
transaction status.
2.3 To assign a Discovery Manager and coordinate site visits or project inquiries.
2.4 To send you relevant project updates, recommendations, and platform notifications.
2.5 To respond to your inquiries, support requests, and feedback.
2.6 To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and technical problems.
2.7 To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
2.8 To generate anonymised, aggregated analytics for internal research and improvement of our services. Such aggregated data does not identify individual users.
3.1 We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3.2 We may share your information with:
(a) Developers: When you submit an EOI, your name, contact details, and unit selection are shared with the respective Developer to facilitate the booking process. This is essential to the service you are using.
(b) Credvest Group entities: Search Zero is a product of the Credvest Group. Your information may be shared with Credvest and its affiliates (Grahm, Aiti) solely to provide you with services across the home-buying journey, and only with your consent.
(c) Payment gateway provider (Razorpay): Transaction data is shared with Razorpay to process your payment. Razorpay's handling of your payment information is governed by Razorpay's privacy policy.
(d) Service providers: We may engage third-party service providers (hosting, analytics, communication tools) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
(e) Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Search Zero, our users, or the public.
4.1 We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.
4.2 If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.
4.3 EOI transaction records are retained for a minimum of 8 years for compliance with applicable tax and financial regulations.
5.1 We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyse usage patterns, and improve the Platform.
5.2 Types of cookies we use:
(a) Essential cookies: Required for the Platform to function (session management, authentication). Cannot be disabled.
(b) Analytics cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the Platform (page views, navigation patterns). Used via tools like Google Analytics.
(c) Preference cookies: Remember your settings, language preferences, and SmartMatch inputs.
5.3 You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.
6.1 We implement reasonable security practices and procedures, including encryption (SSL/TLS), access controls, and secure hosting, to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
6.2 Payment transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. Search Zero does not store credit card numbers, CVV, or banking credentials on its servers.
6.3 While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.1 You have the right to access, review, and update your personal information through your account settings or by contacting us.
7.2 You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by writing to info@searchzero.co.in. Certain data may be retained as described in Section 4.
7.3 You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option or writing to info@searchzero.co.in.
7.4 If you believe any information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request correction by contacting us.
8.1 The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
9.1 The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (Developer websites, payment gateways, map services). This Privacy Policy applies only to Search Zero. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.
10.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, the Grievance Officer for Search Zero is:
